On September 19, 2024, ISANTA received notice that the ANSI Board of Standards Review has approved ANSI/ISANTA SNT-101, 2024, Safety Requirements for Portable Compressed-Air-Actuated Fastener Driving Tools. The approved standard replaces the 2015 version of SNT-101 as of its September 19, 2025 effective date. SNT-101, 2015 remains effective until that date.
The 2024 standard makes significant advancements toward the goal of promoting the safe use of hand-held fastener driving tools. ISANTA thanks its members and all of those who served to review and revise the proposed standard.
