Power Nailer/Stapler Safety Video OfferThe International Staple, Nail and Tool Association (ISANTA) has produced a 15-minute VHS video that presents the safe and productive use of power nailers and staplers. It is available in both English and Spanish, and on both VHS cassette or compact disk (CD). The CD also has training aids (course outline for trainers and handout materials for tool users - English only) that support the video. Click Here for a list of training materials.The new Safety Video, titled "Power Fastening Safety and You: A Partnership," is intended for tool users, building contractors, safety professionals, and dealers, and includes interviews with building contractors and carpenters.Four messages are emphasized: (1) wear eye protection, (2) keep one's finger off the trigger when not working, (3) choose a trigger system for specific needs, and (4) read and understand all safety instructions.The video was developed in conjunction with an alliance of organizations interested in tool and jobsite safety.
